Moving and Deleting SeisWare Projects with Microsoft® Access Databases
You can
check if your project contains a Microsoft Access database by
looking in the Database Type
column of the Project
Propertieswindow. A Microsoft
Access database,
with the file name db.mdb, is stored within the DB folder of your
project folder. Because the database is stored within your
project folder, to move the project you can move the entire project
folder. Note: Although you can no longer create projects with Microsoft Access databases, you can still work with legacy projects.
To move a project with a Mircrosoft Access database:
- In a File Explorer
window map to the project folder.
- Move the entire project
folder to the new location.
- From the Main Launcher's Project
menu select Properties.
- Select the original project
from the list and press the Delete
icon
.
This will
remove the project from the project list, but will not delete any
original files. - From the Tools
menu of the Project
Properties window select Attach Existing Project.
- Redefine
data
paths if seismic data is not
being stored in the
project folder.
